Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your MY University account at any time — directly from the app or by contacting us below.

⚠ This action is permanent. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, and activity. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete from the App (Recommended)

1 Open the MY University app on your device.
2 Tap your Profile icon or go to the Menu.
3 Go to Account Settings.
4 Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
5 Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account will be deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to our support email. We will delete your account within 7 business days of receiving your request.

What Happens to Your Data

Blood donation requests you submitted	Permanently deleted
Authentication credentials (Firebase Auth)	Permanently deleted
Uploaded media (videos, images)	Permanently deleted within 30 days
Aggregated / anonymised analytics	May be retained (no personal identifiers)
Financial / legal records (if any)	Retained as required by law

All personal data deletion is completed within 30 days of account removal. Some anonymised aggregate data may be retained for service improvement as described in our Privacy Policy.
